Actor and celebrity photographer Brad Everett Young rose to prominence for playing a variety of roles in films and television programs.

However, Young's fans were left devastated this week after the Hollywood star died in a horrifying car crash. 

Traffic accident claims Young

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Young's death was confirmed by publicist Paul Christensen, who indicated that he passed away late on Sunday evening.

Christensen explained that Young was driving in Los Angeles on the 134 Freeway when he collided with another motorist who was going in the wrong direction. Young died on the scene while the other driver was hospitalized.

The Reporter recalled that during his career, Young made appearances on such television shows as Boy Meets World, Felicity, Grey’s Anatomy, and Numb3rs.

Christensen was quoted as telling the Reporter that "Brad’s passion for both the arts and the people behind them was unmatched."

The publicist also stressed that Young's "legacy will continue through Dream Loud Official," an organization his client created to defend art and music programs in public schools.

Positivity remembered

Tributes to Young quickly appeared on social media, including from fellow actor Parry Shen, who appeared on ABC's General Hospital as well as in the film Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight.

"Brad Everett Young was one of the kindest [and] generous people I have ever met," Shen wrote in a post on Wednesday afternoon.

Fans lament loss

Individual fans were quick to speak up as well, with one admirer pointing to Young's success as a celebrity photographer.

"Brad Everett Young was an incredible photographer and a wonderful person I will miss seeing him sharing his photos on my TL another one gone way too soon," one person wrote.

"Thank you for the memories Brad. Here are some of my favorite photos he took," the fan added while including a series of black and white images.
