Vivian Wilson, the estranged daughter of Elon Musk, is claiming that she is "financially independent" from her father. 

Page Six reports that the 21-year-old made the remark at the Teen Vogue 2025 Summit that was held over the weekend.

Vivian Wilson is the daughter of Elon Musk and Justine Wilson, a Canadian author who was married to Elon Musk from 2000 until 2008.

Multiple outlets are describing Vivian as "estranged," which apparently sums up the relationship between Vivian and her father.

"Financially independent"

In case you missed it, Vivian Wilson was recently featured on the March 2025 edition of Teen Vogue, and, as stated, over the weekend, Wilson participated in the Teen Vogue 2025 Summit.

There, she claimed that she is "financially independent."

"I’m financially independent," she said, adding, "I’m making money now. Pre-Teen Vogue [cover], no. People have a lot of assumptions, and you just kinda have to deal with that."

In the March edition of the magazine, Wilson said, "I haven’t made any money from being famous at all. I have made zero dollars and zero cents. I do live in a lot of people’s heads rent-free, though."

Obviously, there is probably a lot more to this story than the public really knows.

Vivian's father, Elon Musk, made his way into national news headlines this past weekend when he appeared at Turning Point USA Founder Charlie Kirk's memorial, alongside President Donald Trump.

The Daily Caller reports:

President Donald Trump and Tesla CEO Elon Musk sat next to each other during Sunday’s memorial service for Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk following a bitter feud over the reconciliation package passed in July . . . Video during the memorial service showed Trump and Musk apparently talking amicably, and a photo taken during the service showed the two of them shaking hands.

Kirk had, prior to his passing, expressed hope that Musk and Trump would reunite for the good of the country.

He wrote:

President Trump built this movement over 10 years. His supporters are NOT going anwhere. I hope Elon and Trump reconcile and do so privately. It would be good for the country and the world if they do.

Whether or not Trump and Musk have actually reconciled remains to be seen. But, both individuals posted to social media photographs of their meetup at Kirk's memorial, and both individuals captioned the photograph "for Charlie." So, perhaps, Kirk really has managed to reunite Musk and Trump with his passing.
