A member of the Trump administration was assaulted recently during the United Nations gathering.

Breitbart News reports that the suspect has been identified as 62-year-old Patricia Schuh.

Schuh, as we will see, has been brought up on charges.

The allegations

The incident took place last Thursday, and the alleged victim was an aide to Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

The Daily Caller quotes White House Deputy Press Secretary Anna Kelly as explaining, "An HHS official was followed into a bathroom, recorded, physically assaulted and verbally accosted by a deranged leftist at the U.N. who somehow entered the venue past multiple layers of security."

Kelly went on to say, "Thankfully, the official is safe, and the lunatic was arrested, but this is part of a disturbing and dangerous set of failures by the U.N. after their sabotage of President Trump ahead of and during his speech."

There is little doubt about what Kelly is referring to when she says, "this is part of a disturbing and dangerous set of failures."

During President Trump's visit to the UN, his escalator broke down, his teleprompter stopped working, and his speech was not broadcasted in the room. Many, including Trump, have argued that there is no way that this was just a coincidence.

Charges have been filed

Fox News reports that Schuh is now facing charges for what she did.

Per the outlet:

A source familiar told Fox News Digital that the individual has been charged with assault, aggravated harassment, attempted assault and criminal possession of a weapon. The individual was released from custody at 7:30 p.m. Friday night, the source said. The individual is expected in court next on Nov. 13.

Fox, in its report, also included a statement from a UN spokesperson, seemingly acknowledging wrongdoing during the recent gathering.

The spokesperson said:

We are outraged that a member of the U.S. delegation was physically assaulted inside of UN Headquarters the afternoon of September 25. This attack must be addressed swiftly, and consequences must be felt.

The spokesperson added, "The UN itself recognizes that it has lost its way . . . If you can’t keep people safe in your own building, how can you claim to be the world’s diplomatic center?"

" A free people [claim] their rights, as derived from the laws of nature."
