Barron Trump generated headlines during last year's campaign for the role he played in helping to manage his father's podcast appearances.

Yet journalists don't seem to be the only ones paying attention to Barron, as a new article claims that he is garnering romantic interest as well. 

Report: Entire floor of Trump Tower shut down for Barron's date

According to Page Six, the 19-year-old New York University student recently took a date to Trump Tower, the 58-story building which bears his last name.

The publication noted how an entire floor of the structure was cleared out so that Secret Service agents could provide the pair with adequate security.

Page Six offered no insights as to who the young woman that visited Barron was or how long they have known one another.

Fellow student says that Barron has "a lot of girls running after him"

Despite maintaining a relatively low public profile, the paper highlighted suggestions that the president's youngest son is popular among some of the women at his college.

"He’s tall and awkward, but he was the thing, the guy," one unnamed student was quoted as saying of the 6'7″ Barron. "He had a lot of girls running after him."

That assessment fits with what another anonymous source told People magazine back in December. The figure stated that Barron is "a ladies’ man for sure."

"He’s really popular with the ladies. He’s tall and handsome. A lot of people seem to think he’s pretty attractive," the source went on to add.

Report: Barron relies on Xbox gaming console to communicate with friends

Nevertheless, Page Six noted how security concerns have prompted Barron to adopt an unorthodox method of communicating with his peers.

A source explained to the publication in April that rather than giving out his phone number, Baron relies on the Xbox gaming console’s chat platform as well as a Discord server to keep in touch with friends and acquaintances.

The individual said that this amounts to Barron's "work around" as making his phone number widely available "creates more trouble than it’s worth."

"If people get the number, they would give it out and then a million people would be calling nonstop," the source pointed out before stressing that Barron would "have to change the number constantly and it’d become a merry-go-round."
