Man who put out $45K bounty on AG Pam Bondi arrested
A potentially life-threatening situation for U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi was averted this week after a man was arrested for putting out a so-called "bounty" on the AG through TikTok.
According to the New York Post, thanks to a concerned tipster who alerted the FBI of a potential murder-for-hire situation aimed at Bondi, anarchist Tyler Maxon Avalos, 29, was arrested by the feds earlier this month.
The TikTok post was reportedly one that depicted Bondi in a "Wanted-style" poster, offering the sum of $45,000 for someone to murder her.
The suspect has a lengthy rap sheet, according to authorities, and has deep anarchist ties. He reportedly went by the handle "Wacko" on TikTok, which is also an anarchy reference.
What's going on?
The post that called for Bondi's murder was disgusting, to say the least.

The Post noted:
The chilling post included a photo of Bondi with a “sniper-scope red dot” on her forehead with the caption: “WANTED: Pam Bondi / REWARD: 45,000 ‘ DEAD OR ALIVE / (PREFERABLY DEAD),” court documents charge.
Underneath the photo, the caption read, "Cough cough. When they don’t serve us, then what?"
The Post added:
He was convicted in July 2022 of stalking in Minnesota, as well as domestic battery in Florida in 2016.
In the wake of his alleged threats against Bondi, Avalos was charged with interstate transmission of a threat to injure another person.
The arrest comes in the wake of the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk and high-level threats against other conservatives and Republicans, mostly due to the dangerous and violent rhetoric spewing from the left side of the aisle.
Social media reacts
Users across social media had lots to say about the arrest of Avalos over his online bounty on Bondi's head.
"This is who they are, disagree and we are ant to k*1l you. Let’s see, who else was like that…." one X user wrote.
Another X user wrote, "Get them all and send them to the country of your choice, Pam Bondi. They don't belong in America! No matter where they're born."
Only time will tell if he's found guilty and ultimately sentenced. They need to make examples out of these people, at the very least.
