Key documents concerning former Special Counsel Jack Smith’s 'Arctic Frost' investigation have been released, and Republicans' worst fears have been confirmed.

For years, President Donald Trump and the GOP railed against Smith's political indictment of Trump following the 2020 presidential election. However, these new documents confirm Trump was right and Jack Smith was engaged in an undeniably partisan attack on Trump and the GOP. 

Nealy released FBI files prove that Smith had issued almost 200 subpoenas targeting Republican-related officials and organizations as part of the 'Arctic Frost' probe into Trump following the protests at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.

John Lauro, who was President Trump’s trial counsel against Smith's investigation, explained that these files show a "DOJ takedown of a political movement."

The Biden administration openly pushed a partisan criminal investigation with the explicit purpose of destroying Trump and his energetic political movement that Democrats can't beat at the ballot box.

Political Witch Hunt

Trump has long called Smith's indictment a political witch hunt to destroy his presidential ambitions in 2024, and that was an obvious conclusion to everyone but Democrats ahead of the election.

However, Trump has been vindicated with solid documented proof of Smith's partisan investigation. Furthermore, these new files show that it wasn't just Trump that the Biden administration wanted to take down as GOP lawmakers were also targeted.

These shocking revelations were confirmed by Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA), who made the files public, and confirmed that members of Congress were being targeted alongside Trump by Smith's investigation.

These files confirm that Smith's investigation covertly obtained the “phone and financial records” of Republican officials and Republican-related organizations. And until now, these individuals who were targeted were never informed.

Considering Smith's close proximity to President Joe Biden, this is a Watergate-level scandal. 'Arctic Frost' obtained phone and financial records covertly from the Biden administration's political opposition in Congress and Biden's future opponent in the 2024 election.

With these new discoveries, questions are flying concerning what will happen to the corrupt officials, including Smith, who allowed this partisan witch hunt to take place.

Heads Must Roll

Lauro didn't mince words when speaking to Breitbart News. Lauro explained that 'Arctic Frost' "was simply a DOJ takedown of a political movement, and it really should be shocking to all Americans that this was permitted to go on — with the support of the media, the Democratic Party, the Department of Justice, the Biden Administration, and it was really an outrageous example of lawfare where the goal was to interfere in the election, disrupt the MAGA movement, and ultimately deny President Trump another term.”

He went on to say, "In fact, that was the stated goal of Joe Biden. If you remember, in November of ’22, after the midterms, Joe Biden got up and said, ‘I’m going to do everything I could to prevent President Trump from assuming power again,’ and he said constitutionally, which of course was wink, wink, nod, nod, we don’t care about the Constitution."

It would be difficult to bring any kind of charges against Biden, and he is no longer in office, so impeachment isn't an option. But Congress has a duty to exact justice for Trump and the Republican lawmakers who were victims of Smith's partisan scheme.
