President Trump joins commentators in Fox broadcasting booth at NFL game
President Donald Trump is not a stranger to setting records as a president, and his latest appearance made him the first sitting president in history to attend a regular-season NFL game since 1978.
According to Breitbart, during his appearance at an NFL game between the Washington Commanders and the Detroit Lions on Sunday, the president was able to hang out in the broadcast booth, where he admitted his love for sports.
Trump explained to the broadcasters in the Fox booth that he believes sports is a "microcosm of life," where the good, bad, and ugly moments all occur in a short amount of time.
Commentators Kenny Albert and Jonathan Vilma allowed the president to speak about sports and call a play.
What's going on?
Albert asked the president what drives his love for sports, as President Trump has been seen at a variety of major sporting events both during his first and second term in the White House.
“I know you love sports. You attend baseball games, NASCAR races, what is it about sports that you enjoy the most?” Albert asked the president.
“I just love it,” Trump answered. “It’s a microcosm of life, it’s sort of like life. You know, the good, the bad, the ugly.”
The president would later add that he believes one can "equate sports with life."

“You have the triumphs, and you have the problems, and you got to get through the problems to hit the triumphs, and you can never quit — you can never give up," Trump said.
Social media reaction
Users across social media overwhelmingly agreed with the president's take on sports.
"Sports teach us perseverance and the value of overcoming obstacles. It’s all about pushing through challenges to experience the highs," one X user wrote.
Another X user wrote, "Never quit has been his message for awhile now."
Trump continues to do relatable things that Democrats couldn't even fake if they wanted to.
