President Donald Trump has long had a contentious relationship with Minnesota Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar and other members of the Squad.

Another example of that phenomenon came this week when the White House sent a humiliating message to Omar.

Omar said last month that she does not fear being deported

According to Fox News, the official White House X.com account posted an image of Trump waving goodbye from the takeout window of a McDonalds.

The post was made in response to a clip of Omar telling "The Dean Obeidallah Show" last month that she does not fear being deported.

"I have no worry, I don’t know how they’d take away my citizenship and like deport me," the Democratic lawmaker could be heard saying.

"But I don’t even know like why that’s such a scary threat. Like I’m not the 8-year-old who escaped war anymore. I’m grown, my kids are grown. Like I could go live wherever I want," she added.

Trump said in September that Omar "should go back"

Fox News noted how this is far from being the first time that the president has suggested that Omar should leave the United States.

One instance came earlier this month when Trump put up a post on his Truth Social platform which read, "She should go back!"

The president's post featured a video clip in which the Minnesota member of Congress could be seen speaking to a crowd in Somali.

What's more, Fox News quoted Trump as telling reporters in September, "You know, I met the head of Somalia, did you know that? And I suggested that maybe he’d like to take her back. He said, 'I don’t want her.'"

Omar's campaign gave money to group with alleged terror links

This is not the first time Omar has made headlines in recent weeks, as Fox News reported on October 29 that her campaign gave money to an organization with alleged terror links.

It cited Federal Election Commission (FEC) records showing that $1559.25 was paid in September to the Palestine House of Freedom, an anti-Israel group which is also known by its Arabic name "Dar Alhurriya."

While the amount was described as covering "event tickets," no further explanation was provided regarding the event or when it took place.

The Washington Reporter revealed in June that the Palestine House of Freedom conducted a fundraiser for the Palestinian Birzeit University, which has been accused by House Republicans of supporting Hamas.
