Man whom Rep. Crockett mistook for Jeffrey Epstein strikes back
The neurosurgeon whom U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) recently mistook for Jeffrey Epstein is striking back.
The New York Post reports that Dr. Jeffrey Epstein, the Long Island neurosurgeon, just responded to the lawmaker's error.
As we will he, he is threatening revenge.
Jasmine Crockett makes an absolute fool of herself when she is asked to correct the record about accusing Republicans of taking donations from a different Dr. Jeffrey Epstein:
"That is specifically why I said *a* Jeffrey Epstein. Just because it wasn't the same one, that's… pic.twitter.com/fyS0tnN6AX

Background
In case you missed it, it was just this past week that Crockett made the error. She did so in attempting to link a Trump administration official to Epstein.
The Washington Examiner reported:
During a speech on the House floor earlier this week, Crockett said newly disclosed Federal Election Commission filings showed that Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin, a former congressman, had taken campaign donations from “somebody named Jeffrey Epstein.”
The problem, as the Examiner notes, is that "the Epstein in question is a different person," namely, a Long Island neurosurgeon.
Zeldin responded to the accusation, saying, "Yes Crockett, a physician named Dr. Jeffrey Epstein (who is a totally different person than the other Jeffrey Epstein) donated to a prior campaign of mine."
Crockett replied to the blowback with, "Listen, I never said that it was that Jeffrey Epstein."
The neurosurgeon speaks
Dr. Epstein weighed in on the situation in an interview with the Post. He suggested that he may seek revenge on Crockett.
Per the Post:
Dr. Jeffrey Epstein, the Long Island neurosurgeon who Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) suggested could be the notorious sex trafficker, told The Post Thursday about the masterstroke of revenge he could dish out on the loud-mouthed congresswoman who dragged his name through the mud. “I think that I should contribute money to Jasmine Crockett and then let everybody know that she also took money from Jeffrey Epstein,” Epstein told The Post.
The doctor was asked whether or not this mix-up had ever occurred before.
He said, "Until she said something, it was never an issue. I say my name and sometimes people will give me a look, or whatever. I always look at them and say, ‘I don’t understand,’ and I make it like I’m dumb."
He added, "Listen, that’s my name. If my name was Jeffrey Dahmer when that whole thing came out — do you think that would be a problem? Listen, anytime a doppelganger is tied to a less-than-desirable, it’s never a good situation. But it doesn’t matter to me. I could[n’t] care less."
