Election year 2024 was about lying about Biden's health, and the White House cover-up for journalists. In 2025, the shift has moved into profiting. Biden is out of office, Harris lost, and the "great truth telling" can now commence.

What happened in the White House and how they propped up a clearly deteriorating Biden should end careers. People who lied and covered up Biden's decline should be forced to answer for their actions.

Instead, we're getting them as primary sources for books. After this period is over, they'll all get new jobs in either corporate America or politics. It'll be like nothing ever happened.

The latest book is the most anticipated: "Original Sin: President Biden's Decline, Its Cover-up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again. The primary author, Alex Thompson, was one of the few people reporting on Biden's decline while it happened and was blasted for it.

As anyone could have predicted, what is being reported now shows that everything was far worse behind the scenes. The White House didn't even believe Biden could walk on his own, let alone run for President.

The latest book excerpts show "Joe Biden's physical deterioration was so severe in 2023 and 2024 that advisers privately discussed the possibility he'd need to use a wheelchair if he won re-election ... The conversations also reveal the White House's determination to conceal the reality of Biden's condition, at the risk of his own health, while he faced a tough re-election bid against Donald Trump."

It doesn't just end there; Biden's doctor was raising red flags. Biden's doctor, Kevin O'Connor, "often argued with Biden's political officials to get more rest time into the President's schedule. O'Connor sometimes quipped that Biden's staff members were trying to kill him, while he was trying to keep him alive."

Then we get to the infamous Hollywood fundraiser, where Barack Obama had to help Biden off the stage. George Clooney was at the event, and the book claims, "Clooney was shaken to his core ... The President hadn't recognized him, a man he had known for years."

The problem wasn't just one of Biden slowing down. People did not believe he could finish the race. "[T]he problem went far beyond his gait. ... This was much graver ... others at the fundraiser described Biden as 'slow and almost catatonic. ... It was, to some of them, terrifying.'"

That's not what any of them said in public, though. Obama, Clooney, White House staff, and the rest rushed to Biden's defense and assured everyone he was fine. They continued hiding him until that fateful debate, when Biden proved to the world that his rumored health decline was real and impossible to ignore.

What conservatives and most Americans saw easily and pointed out for years, Democrats could no longer lie about. Now we're at the point where these same Democrats are trying to say they actually knew all of this, and lied, but had good reasons to do so.

We've entered the second cover-up. The first was about Biden, the truth behind his health, and the group effort to hide him from the world. But now, the second cover-up is about trying to save the reputations and careers of everyone who helped that effort along.

On the domestic politics side, Joe Biden's decline and cover-up are the biggest scandals of the 21st century. COVID-19, the Iraq War, and 9/11 are all big events that implicate foreign policy. The Biden cover-up was a deliberate choice to lie about everything, despite what anyone with eyes could tell.

That brings us to the last point: the excuses from the press. The newly developed justification from the media is that they aren't to blame; they were lied to about Biden. Chuck Todd has pushed this line, in particular, claiming it's just a right-wing talking point. 

If that's true and so bad, then name names. If journalists are allegedly made about taking the blame here, they can burn the Democrats who "lied to them." That is not happening. 

If the press can't even take that simple step, then we have our answer to why the press got "taken advantage of" with lies. They chose to believe whatever Democrats said. Compare this to how the press runs counters during Trump speeches for the lies he tells.

When it came time to point out the biggest lie of all - that Joe Biden had the physical and mental wherewithal to do the job - they questioned nothing. And now we're here reading stuff after the fact because these same outlets wouldn't dare report these things during an election. 

Joe Biden's tenure in the White House and how he hid his condition are stains on the White House. The media's protection of Biden is a stain on its legacy. Both have earned the scorn they both have now because there's no reason for anyone to trust them on anything ever again.
