Thursday evening, a radical socialist steeped in the works of Marx and Hamas propaganda went to a Jewish museum and executed a young, innocent man and woman in cold blood. After doing this, he went into the museum, admitted what he'd done, pulled out a keffiyeh, and shouted, "Free, Free Palestine. From the river to the sea and there's only one solution, intifada revolution."

The intifada has come to Washington D.C., the capital city of the United States of America, and seeks the same thing its adherents demand in every country where those words are uttered: killing every Jew they can find and anyone who supports Jews.

Once again, we are reminded that claiming to care about Gaza is nothing more than a parlor trick. These people want to murder Jews, and they will use any self-rationalization to get to the point where they can go out and execute them in whatever country they are in. It's that black-and-white of an issue.

These are not protestors. They are domestic terrorists and should be treated as such. And when I say that, I don't mean them just as individuals, but the groups they work in and espouse their antisemitic filth need to be declared as domestic terrorist groups and hunted down by federal authorities wherever they are hiding.

Those declaring an intifada have made themselves clear: they do not believe in a free or diverse society. They only want to kill Jews. The Trump administration needs to answer in kind: we don't want people who believe that in the United States.

In the meantime, there's no other answer for Jews in America than to arm themselves. The Second Amendment exists to solve this problem. Unfortunately, half the political establishment in this country, the Democratic Party, is beholden to the Hamas propagandists with socialist flair. They will not help anymore - John Fetterman-type politicians are the exception, not the rule.

To give you a sense of how vile this attack was, police reviewed the footage and found that the shooter fired away, and then tracked down the wounded and made sure to kill them. This was an execution of Jews in the nation's capital.

If you have a conscience, that should chill you to the bone. This is the antithesis of our founding.

George Washington wrote to a Jewish congregation in 1790, "I am pleased with your favorable opinion of my Administration, and fervent wishes for my felicity. May the Children of the Stock of Abraham, who dwell in this land, continue to merit and enjoy the good will of the other Inhabitants; while every one shall sit in safety under his own vine and figtree, and there shall be none to make him afraid."

And now, the capital city is a place where Jewish groups are hunted.

There's no question of the leanings of the killer, either. He was a member of the Party of Socialism and Liberation (PSL), "a far-left, Marxist, pro-Palestine group." That group and others he was a part of were busy being scrubbed of his identity this morning.

Jim Geraghty, catching them in the act, noted: "The webpage with Rodriguez's comments was taken down by Liberationmagazine, but you can still find it here. You see, trying to erase history is an old habit of the Commies." He added, "[Thursday] morning, the Party of Socialism and Liberation is insisting they barely knew the guy, and have no clue where he would have possibly gotten the notion that gunning down Jews was a good idea."

He said nothing different than any of the other "protesters" at Columbia University or other Ivy League colleges where Jews are being targeted and harassed.

According to reporting, "[An] X profile has surfaced (@kyodo.leather) that seems to belong to Rodriguez. One X user calls @kyodo.leather "Elias. The account started to actively publish on X in October 2023, just two weeks after October 7, and posted content including a video calling to "bomb Tel Aviv" and the words "Happy New Year, Death To Israel." Furthermore, Rodriguez's suspected Bluesky profile picture shows the two terrorists who attacked the Jaffa Light Rail in November 2024."

This is what the shooter believed, and he received support and camaraderie in the socialist and anti-Jew groups he worked in. This is who he is. And it's hard to see any distance between his beliefs and the groups he was in.

Donald Trump should declare them domestic terrorist groups and send the FBI after them. The time for speeches and words is over. These people are enemies both of America and the Jews who live here. We need to double down on making George Washington's promise a reality.
