Ivanka Trump has responded to speculation that she may soon return to politics by embarking on a lavish vacation to Mexico with her husband, Jared Kushner, in order to attend the wedding of a close friend.

The former first daughter is reportedly concentrating on her personal life and not on the " manufactured" news about a possible return to politics, according to friends who spoke to The Daily Mail.

"They went on a long planned weekend celebrating a friend's wedding, far away from the fabricated gossip swirling around of an imminent return to politics in DC. The couple remains focused on their family and private lives," friends close to the couple said.

Taking a Step Back

It was made abundantly clear that Ivanka Trump was not involved in politics when Donald Trump announced that he would be running for president once more. Ivanka served as a senior adviser to her father while he was in the White House.

“I love my father very much,” she said at the time. “This time around, I am choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family. I do not plan to be involved in politics.”

Notwithstanding a Puck News report that she was " not rule out having some sort of role" in her father's campaign, she maintains her position that she will not be involved in politics.

Changes In Store

She reportedly keeps her attention on her family and friends, as well as their existence in Miami, where she and husband Jared are raising their three children.

She consistently updated her Instagram with personal musings, which this weekend included photographs.

Ivanka who wore a Cristallini red gown, and Jared, attired in a tuxedo, were attending a friend's nuptials in Valle de Bravo, a municipality situated on Lake Avándaro to the west of Mexico City.

"Celebrating love and the magic of Mexico," she wrote Sunday on her social media post.

Making Space for Family

The couple has made an effort to maintain a certain level of detachment from the re-election campaign of Donald Trump and the broader Trump orbit.

The couple moved to Florida with Theodore, 8, Joseph, 9, and Arabella, 12, after Trump left office in January 2021.

Additionally, Ivanka was not present at Mar-a-Lago when Donald Trump declared his intention to run for a second term in November 2022.

The former first daughter, who was actively engaged in Trump's initial term in the White House, has reportedly welcomed the change in her life. She previously maintained a West Wing office and represented the administration domestically and internationally on a regular basis.
