National Football League (NFL) quarterback Aaron Rogers believes that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is "in danger."

Rogers suggested as much during a recent appearance on the I Can Fly podcast.

This comes as Kennedy is running as an independent candidate in the upcoming 2024 presidential election.

At one point, there was a lot of talk about the possibility that Rogers was going to be Kennedy's running mate. But, Kennedy, instead, went with Nicole Shanahan.

"Bobby's in danger"

During the interview, Rogers expressed concern that Kennedy could end up having the same fate as other members of his family, including his uncle former President John F. Kennedy.

"The two-party system that we got in place doesn’t work, hasn’t been working, hasn’t been working really since JFK was in office, and we need somebody who’s willing to lay it on the line. That’s what I love about Bobby," Rogers said.

He continued, "Think about it. They killed his uncle. They killed his dad. We know the CIA was involved, right? I mean, they can’t declassify it because it’s so damning. We know the FBI was involved . . ."

Here, Rogers explained why he believes this, and he concluded by suggesting that Kennedy is "in danger."

"So, Bobby loses his uncle, JFK, his father, RFK. His cousin dies in a plane crash when he was running against Hillary Clinton. I’m not saying that was a conspiracy, but it’s kind of a weird coincidence. Bobby’s in danger, you know? Like he’s putting himself on the line [by running for the presidency]," Rogers said.

Background

Kennedy, too, seems to think that he is in danger. This is why he has repeatedly asked the Biden administration for Secret Service protection. But, each time, the administration has refused to grant this request.

The latest denial - Kennedy's fifth - came just recently. Kennedy blasted the Biden administration saying that the denials were "capricious, an abuse of discretion, and clearly politically motivated."

It is appearing more and more likely that Kennedy could play a large, spoiler role in the upcoming presidential election.

In particular, it is believed that he could take a lot of votes from President Joe Biden, making it easier for former President Donald Trump to win. At this point, just about everybody seems to be in agreement that this very well could happen.

USA Today reports that, in response, "President Joe Biden's Democratic allies have mobilized against Robert F. Kennedy Jr., intent on stopping his independent presidential bid from dooming Democrats in November."
