Fox News reported that Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx experienced "a medical complication" earlier this week. 

The network cited an Instagram post put up on Wednesday by Foxx's daughter, Corinne Foxx, which provided an update on her father's condition.

Daughter says actor "is already on his way to recovery"

"We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery," Corinne Foxx's statement read.

"We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers," she continued, adding, "The family asks for privacy during this time." Fox News noted that it is not yet clear what medical condition the Grammy award winner is suffering from.

Foxx is currently making the Netflix action-comedy film "Back in Action" alongside actress Cameron Diaz, and People magazine reported that his health episode forced filming to be temporarily halted.

The magazine cited a memo that said scenes scheduled to be shot this weekend had been canceled but that production is expected to resume on Monday.

Messages of support for Foxx quickly were quickly posted to social media, including from far-left comedian D. L. Hughley.

Meanwhile, some Twitter users were quick to speculate that Foxx's health problem may be linked to the COVID-19 vaccine.

Former GOP candidate believes Pfizer could be responsible

One of them is commentator Erin Elizabeth, who suggested that Foxx's incident could make leftists "nervous about all those boosters they had."

Former Florida Republican congressional candidate Lavern Spicer made a similar suggestion, tweeting, "Black America will never forgive Pfizer if they take Jamie!"
