Attorney General Pam Bondi celebrated last month's arrest of alleged MS-13 gang boss and illegal alien Henrry Josue Villatoro Santos.

This week saw Bondi drop the hammer by asking that Villatoro's charges be dismissed to allow for a quick deportation.

Villatoro was arrested at this mother's house last month

According to Fox News, Bondi made the announcement on Wednesday, saying, "As a terrorist, he will now face the removal process."

The New York Post reported that Villatoro was among the 340 illegal immigrant criminals who were apprehended by an FBI-led task force in March.

The 24-year-old Salvadoran national was taken into custody in the early morning hours of March 27 following a raid on his mother's home in Prince William County, Virginia.

Authorities assert that Villatoro at first refused to surrender when law enforcement officers entered the house, forcing them to make use of a stun grenade.

FBI director: "This is what happens when you let good cops be cops"

A search of the home later turned up multiple firearms along with a collection of ammunition and a pair of unregistered suppressors.

The Post noted how FBI Director Kash Patel hailed Villatoro's capture when speaking to reporters at a press conference, saying, "This is what happens when you let good cops be cops."

He later told the Post that it had been "an honor to work alongside the tough and fearless leadership of Attorney General Pam Bondi, [Customs and Border Protection], and Gov. [Glenn] Youngkin."

"The arrest of an MS-13 leader this morning is a critical victory for law enforcement and a strong message to violent gangs: your days of terrorizing our communities are numbered," Patel asserted.

Defense attorney opposes motion to dismiss charges

Meanwhile, Fox News pointed out how Villatoro's, Muhammed Sayed, has filed a motion opposing Bondi's request that the charges against his client be dismissed.

He complained that Bondi "has been publicly and loudly propagating allegations that Mr. Villatoro Santos 'is one of the top leaders of MS-13’ and ‘one of the leaders for the East Coast, one of the top in the entire country.'"

"The danger of Mr. Villatoro Santos being unlawfully deported by ICE without due process and removed to El Salvador, where he would almost certainly be immediately detained at one of the worst prisons in the world without any right to contest his removal, is substantial, both in light of the Government's recent actions and the very public pronouncements in this case," Sayed declared.
