President Donald Trump selected a stable of absolute killers as far as his Cabinet is concerned, and Attorney General Pam Bondi is one of the MVPs so far.

According to Fox News, within her first week of holding the position as America's top law enforcement officer, Bondi announced a new lawsuit against New York and several of the state's top officials over their resistance to new deportation policies.

Bondi announced a lawsuit against New York, its governor, Kathy Hochul, and Attorney General Letitia James (D) over their failure to comply with Trump's policies.

Mark Schroeder, commissioner of the New York Department of Motor Vehicles, was also named in the lawsuit.

What's going on?

Bondi released a statement holding nothing back regarding her thoughts on what should happen to officials, cities and states that don't feel like they need to comply with the president's executive policies on such matters.

"This is a new DOJ," Bondi announced during a recent news conference. "New York has chosen to prioritize illegal aliens over American citizens. It stops. It stops today."

"If you don't comply with federal law, we will hold you accountable," Bondi said. "We did it to Illinois, strike one. Strike two is New York. And if you are a state not complying with federal law, you're next. Get ready."

Schroeder was charged over an issue regarding the issuance of driver's licenses to illegal immigrants.

Fox News noted:

Also charged is Mark Schroeder, commissioner of the New York Department of Motor Vehicles. Bondi cited New York's Green Light laws, also known as the Driver's License Act, which allows illegal immigrants to get a driver's license.

Social media reacts

Trump's supporters reacted to Bondi's bombshell announcement, and they were nothing less than thrilled to hear it.

"That was a powerful news conference she hosted! I would not want to be doing anything illegal with her as AG," one X user wrote.

Another X user wrote, "Pam Bondi is amazing!

It's beyond refreshing to see someone in Bondi's position make a move that's for the betterment and safety of American citizens. We never had that under Biden or any other Democratic administration. Way to go, AG Bondi.
