AG Bondi takes action to save her job after Epstein report backlash: report
U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi is taking action to save her job, following the backlash that she has faced from supporters of President Donald Trump following her report on Jeffrey Epstein.
The Daily Mail reports that President Trump recently ordered Bondi to release grand jury testimony from the Epstein case.
However, many are wondering whether this is just a ploy to try to appease the backlashers.
There are some strong reasons to believe that it just might be.
Background
Bondi, just recently, released a report claiming two things: first, that Epstein did in fact die by suicide, and, second, that there is no Epstein client list.
This led to a backlash from some of Trump's strongest supporters, for it appeared that the Trump administration decided to perpetuate the government cover-up of the Epstein situation.
The president has been trying to get his base to move on from the situation, but his efforts have not been fruitful. Accordingly, Trump has now ordered Bondi to release grand jury testimony from the Epstein case.
The president stated:
I have asked the Justice Department to release all Grand Jury testimony with respect to Jeffrey Epstein, subject only to Court Approval. With that being said, and even if the Court gave its full and unwavering approval, nothing will be good enough for the troublemakers and radical left lunatics making the request. It will always be more, more, more. MAGA!

A ploy?
Now, many are suggesting that this is just a ploy.
The Daily Mail reports:
President Donald Trump's latest idea to make up ground with his base was to direct Attorney General Pam Bondi to get the grand jury testimony from the case unsealed by the Southern District of New York. But legal experts were quick to point out issues in the strategy. The first being that the testimony is unlikely to be unsealed. The second being that even if it is released it's unlikely to yield any new or bombshell information from the Jeffrey Epstein case.
Others are also calling attention to the fact that, amid the backlash from the Epstein situation, the Trump administration decided to release the documents from the Trump-Russia Collusion Hoax.
The argument is that the timing of this release is no coincidence, but, rather, it was designed to take attention away from the Epstein situation.
Whatever the case may be, this Epstein situation has turned into a major problem for the president.
