Americans disapprove of Biden's climate policies: poll

Joe Biden's PR team is doing cartwheels to please the climate change fanatics, but nothing seems to be enough.

A new poll found that Biden's approval rating on the climate issue is underwater.

A whopping 57 percent of Americans disapprove of Biden's climate policies, the Washington Post/University of Maryland found, while just 40 percent approve.

The dismal result likely reflects a mixture of disappointed climate cultists, who expected Biden to go further in his efforts to completely revolutionize the American economy, and normal people who find Biden's meddling disruptive.

Biden down on climate

Unfortunately for Biden, the poll found that Americans know little about his major climate law, the Inflation Reduction Act, which is a big piece of his "Bidenomics" agenda.

Democrats have lauded the Inflation Reduction Act as a historic investment in battling the weather, but 71 percent were not familiar with the law, which includes billions in tax credits to incentivize the adoption of solar panels and electric car technology.

Of course, marketing a bill called "The Inflation Reduction Act" that has nothing to do with inflation was always going to be tough. Maybe if Biden were honest, and called it the "Climate Industry Kickbacks Act," voters wouldn't be so in the dark.

The poll also found Americans split pretty evenly on their distrust of the parties concerning climate, with 59 percent saying they don't trust Democrats, and 74 percent saying the same for Republicans.

That's a pitiful result for the Dems, considering the vast energy they pour into propaganda campaigns attacking "climate deniers."

Emergency?

Although 74 percent of Democrats approved of Biden's climate policy, a vocal fringe of lunatics, overrepresented in the media, have pressured Biden to declare a "climate emergency."

Biden, seeking to appease the crazies, claimed this week that he "practically" declared a climate emergency, which is fair given the extraordinarily coercive measures he has taken, including targeting common household appliances like gas stoves.

But nothing seems to be enough for the climate lobby.

"Biden has, in fact, failed to declare a climate emergency under the National Emergencies Act, failed to harness his executive powers, and failed to take lifesaving action to end fossil fuels,” Kassie Siegel, director of the Center for Biological Diversity’s Climate Law Institute, said.

In the meantime, Biden is trying to sell the country on "Bidenomics," which feels like a messaging disaster waiting to happen as the price of gas nears $4 a gallon nationally.
