At least seven Delaware prosecutors donated to Democrats during Hunter Biden's probe, according to a new report.

The news comes after concerns about the connections between special counsel David Weiss and Beau Hunter, the late brother of Hunter Biden.

The connections

"The partisan donations come as many within the Delaware U.S. Attorney’s Office appear to have deep ties to the Bidens," Breitbart News reported.

"According to the Washington Post, Weiss spent years working with Hunter’s late older brother, Beau Biden, who was then-Delaware attorney general," it added.

A clear example

"Daniel Logan, a prosecutor in Weiss’s office until earlier this year, appears to have had a close relationship with the Biden family before he joined the Delaware U.S. attorney’s office," the Washington Examiner reported.

"In 2010, for example, he appeared to write an email to Hunter Biden thanking him for a donation Hunter Biden had made in the name of Logan’s ailing son," it continued.

A credibility concern

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) has opposed Weiss as special counsel in Hunter Biden's case.

"I have strongly opposed the creation of a special counsel to investigate Hunter Biden," he wrote.

"I had zero confidence that AG Garland would appoint anyone credible. His selection of David Weiss is unbelievable. Weiss just tried to push Hunter a sweetheart plea deal," he added.

The latest report shows that several Delaware Democrats have ties to the president and to Hunter Biden that could be a problem for any investigation of the first son. The bias also reveals the need for an additional look at those involved in the investigation regarding other ties with the president or his son.

The new discoveries related to Delaware prosecutors and the Bidens are not a surprise but are concerning as the relationships could have an impact on the outcome of the case.
