Attorney general sues New York over law allowing illegal aliens to get drivers licenses
The leaders of some sanctuary jurisdictions have pledged to obstruct President Donald Trump's agenda of deporting illegal aliens.
However, Attorney General Pam Bondi recently dared those leaders to "bring it on" as she pursues legal action against them.
Bondi warns Democratic officials that they had "better comply" with federal law
"We will protect Americans," the Daily Mail quoted Bondi as telling Fox News during an interview late last week. She added that Democrats had "better comply" with federal law.
Bondi went on to insist that favoring illegal migrants over American citizens is "[n]ot going to happen under Donald Trump's administration"
"We have spoken loud and clear. We are sick and tired of Americans being murdered and these states protecting illegal aliens," the attorney general stressed.
"Talk to the family of Laken Riley and all of these other young women and men who have been murdered by illegal aliens. And let's see what you think then when you want to protect them," Bondi went on to add.
Lawsuit concerns 2019 law which permits illegal aliens to get drivers licenses
The Daily Mail noted how the Department of Justice (DOJ) filed a lawsuit earlier this month against New York Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul.
The suit also names New York Attorney General Letitia James along with Mark Schroeder, who serves as commissioner for the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles.
At issue is New York's 2019 "Green Light Law," which allows illegal immigrants to obtain drivers licenses while preventing federal officials from accessing the data.
"This is a new DOJ and we are taking steps to protect Americans," Bondi declared at a press conference where she was flanked by the family members of those who have been killed by foreign criminals.
Among them was Tammy Nobles, who recounted to reporters how her daughter was murdered by an illegal alien gang member.
Attorney general is reviewing Jeffrey Epstein's client list
Yet immigration enforcement isn't the only topic on Bondi's agenda, as she also told Fox News on Friday that the DOJ is preparing to release deceased finance mogul and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein's client list.

"It's sitting on my desk right now to review," Bondi said of the document. "That’s been a directive by President Trump. I’m reviewing that."
