Barack Obama refuses to comment on whether his wife will run for president
President Joe Biden continues to face abysmal polling numbers, a fact which has some observers suggesting that former First Lady Michelle Obama may replace him on the ballot.
Yet if Mrs. Obama is considering a White House run, then her husband has decided to keep quiet about it.
Former president refuses to answer when asked about wife's plans
As the Daily Mail noted, that fact was evident this past weekend when former President Barack Obama was questioned about the subject outside of a restaurant in Los Angeles.

While waiting photographers asked the former president about whether or not his wife plans to seek his old job, Obama had little to say.
"Barack said something inaudible to waiting photographers but did not clearly respond to the question," the article stated.
Ted Cruz says Obama candidacy would be "most dangerous" scenario for GOP
Obama's paparazzi encounter came less than two weeks after Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz discussed the possibility that Democrats may end up nominating his wife.
"Here's the scenario that I think is perhaps the most likely and most dangerous," Cruz told his listeners of his podcast "Verdict with Ted Cruz."
NEW: Senator Ted Cruz believes Biden will *not* be the 2024 Democrat candidate & thinks the Democrats will "parachute" in... wait for it...

"In August of 2024, the Democrat kingmakers [will] jettison Joe Biden and parachute in Michelle Obama," the senator predicted, stressing, "I view this as a very serious danger."
Cruz believes Democrats would rally around Obama
Cruz went on to suggest that Mrs. Obama's entry into the race would likely display the four other Democrats that he identified as being likely presidential contenders.
"Michelle Obama because she was the first lady has the ability to parachute in above all four and say, 'Hey, we're not picking among any of you,'" Cruz declared.
"You guys can all fight it out next time, you're all on the same level. We're coming. This is the Obamas coming in and saving the day," he explained before adding, "And I think in terms of a solution that unifies Democrats, there ain't nothing like that."
