In a contrast with older brothers Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr., Barron Trump has chosen to maintain a relatively low public profile.

However, the youngest child of President-elect Donald Trump's children nevertheless recently made headlines when a viral video showed him at Mar-a-Lago.

Barron spotted eating dinner with parents and grandfather

According to the Daily Mail, Barron was observed having dinner with his mother and father this past weekend on a patio at the Palm Beach resort.

In addition to the president-elect and soon-to-be First Lady Melania Trump, Barron's maternal grandfather Viktor Knavs was also present for dinner.

The Daily Mail noted that Barron is expected to remain in Florida for Thanksgiving before returning next week to New York City where he is attending university.

Lara Trump: Barron deserves "some serious credit"

Yet while Barron largely stays out of the limelight, sister-in-law Lara Trump says that the 18-year-old has an important role behind the scenes.

The Independent reported that Mrs. Trump made the claim earlier this month during an interview with podcast host Patrick Bet-David.

"There have been many times I’ve been traveling over the course of the campaign with my father-in-law in the car," said Trump, who serves as co-chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC).

"Barron will call and say, 'Dad, I have an idea of how you can get more votes,' and it’ll be, you know, 'You need to go to this baseball stadium' or whatever," Mrs. Trump explained, adding that Barron deserves "some serious credit."

Trump adviser says Barron steered father's podcast strategy

What's more, longtime Trump adviser Jason Miller the Post also noted how longtime Trump adviser Jason Miller said Barron played an active role in helping to shape his father's campaign.

"Barron has been very involved in recommending a number of the podcasts that we should do," the newspaper quoted Miller as telling Politico's "Playbook Deep Dive."

"I got to tell you, hats off to the young man. Every single recommendation he’s had has turned out to be absolute ratings gold that’s broke the internet. He’s done a great job," Miller stressed.

"When you look at the impact of podcasts or YouTube shows — non-traditional media — part of the thing is you’re meeting voters where they're at," he pointed out.
