Barron Trump 'struggles to fit in' at college: report

Barron Trump is struggling to fit in at college.

This is according to a new report from the Daily Mail.

The outlet appears to be basing its report, at least in part, on photographs that it recently obtained of Trump at New York University, where he is currently going to school.

If Trump is really "struggling to fit in," then there are some obvious reasons for this, including that he is the son of the president of the United States. But, first, let's take a look at what this report has to say.

Here's what the photos show:

The Daily Mail says that it took the photos on "the last day of spring classes at NYU as students enter exam week."

They are said to "show Barron leaving Stern School of Business in Manhattan's Greenwich Village surrounded by paid guards and no one else."

The outlet reports:

In the photos, Barron ducks his chin to his chest and rolls his shoulders as he walks behind a member of his security team, with four more burly officers behind him. While some freshmen take the opportunity of being far from home and their parents' watchful eyes to experiment with their personal style, Barron is clearly sticking to what he knows, dressed in a collared white shirt, with a black sweater and dark blue trousers. In fact, the black backpack slung over one of his shoulders is the only sign he is a college student.

The outlet does not explain what a college student ought to look like.

Rather, it continues, "A second after the photos were taken, he climbed into a waiting black SUV, and was whisked away from campus, with no post-class socializing in sight. It seems to be a pattern for Barron."

There's more:

This report from the Daily Mail is nothing new.

The Mirror, earlier this year, made a similar claim.

Per the outlet:

However, despite being an heir to the Trump fortune, Barron reportedly prefers to keep a low profile. TMZ reports that he "hardly exists" at New York University and spends his social time playing video games.

We never, of course, get information straight from Barron Trump about any of this. Perhaps, he is having a great time at college. We simply do not know.

But, if he is struggling with the social aspect, what else would you expect? He is the son of, perhaps, the most famous man in the world. Finding peers to socialize with is always going to be difficult for him.
