Biden administration exposed for not arresting illegal immigrants
The administration of former President Joe Biden is being exposed for its failure to arrest illegal immigrants residing in the United States.
It is being exposed, according to the Washington Examiner, by the Trump administration's efforts in this area.
The outlet reports:
The number of illegal immigrants arrested at the nation's borders has seen a staggering decrease over the past year as White House administrations transitioned from former President Joe Biden to President Donald Trump's immigration policies.
There has, in fact, been a greater than 90% decrease.
"What a difference a year makes!"
The difference was exposed by U.S. Border Patrol Chief Mike Banks.
On his X account, he wrote:
What a difference a year makes! USBP apprehensions decreased by 91% from the same 7-day period last year. This sharp decline reflects real progress in securing our borders and enforcing the law.
Banks went on to attribute this change to nothing other than the policies of President Donald Trump.
"By stopping the flow at the border, we also streamline the removal of illegal entrants already in the country, reinforcing the integrity of our immigration system," he wrote.

The truth is finally revealed
The New York Post's editorial board exposes just how egregious this situation is.
The board writes:
Hallelujah, the border is finally working again: Border Patrol chief Michael Banks announced Thursday that illegal border-crossing attempts have dropped 90% since President Trump took office less than three weeks ago. Which is the final proof that the Biden crew could’ve gotten the same results anytime in the last four years — had they actually wanted to.
This is, indeed, the key point: Biden and his administration could have done what Trump in now doing - in fact, under the law, they should have done it. But, instead, they chose not to.
Trump has already shown that it is not that difficult a situation to fix. By the relatively simple actions he has taken since becoming president, border crossings at the U.S.-Mexico border have already dropped by 90% since January.
The Post separately reports:
The new US Border Patrol chief said the number of illegal migrants stopped trying to cross the besieged southern border has dropped an astonishing 90% since January 21 — a day after President Trump’s inauguration.
