The exchange
"Fox News White House correspondent Jacqui Heinrich asked the president, 'Did you lie about never speaking with Hunter about his business deals?'"
"No," Biden replied flatly. Heinrich followed up by asking, "Did you ever speak with Hunter about his business deals?"

There's more
"When asked if he had ever talked with Hunter Biden about his overseas business dealings, the older Biden walked away," the Washington Examiner noted.
"Testimony from IRS whistleblowers, released last week by House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith (R-MO), alleges that Joe Biden had more of a role in Hunter Biden's business dealings than previously reported. The whistleblowers allege a Hunter Biden business associate told the FBI that Joe Biden had stopped by at least one China-related business meeting at Hunter Biden’s apparent request," it added.

Garland's response
Biden's answer came just days after Attorney General Merrick Garland denied IRS whistleblower allegations that also noted his interference in the Hunter Biden investigation.
“[David Weiss] was given complete authority to make all decisions on his own," he told reporters.
The concerns come as the Biden administration also continues to push forward on charges against former President Donald Trump over alleged classified documents found last year in his Florida home during an FBI raid.
Many have seen the charges and their timing as political as the investigation against the Biden family heats up under House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY).
The latest response and walking away from reporters by the president shows he still has no plans to provide a longer response to the accusations, leaving any investigations for others to pursue the details in the concerning search for answers over his son's business deals and his involvement in them during his past role.
