Biden jokes about buying expensive ice cream as strapped nation grieves shooting victims

As Americans struggle to stay afloat in Biden's America, the president isn't concerned: after all, he's got a refrigerator full of delicious gourmet ice cream.

The oldest president in American history joked about keeping a freezer full of an expensive ice cream brand during a White House event Monday where he also addressed the horrific massacre at the Covenant School in Tennessee.

Biden began working the crowd with a self-deprecating introduction, saying, "My name is Joe Biden, I'm Dr. Jill Biden's husband."

He then shared his fondness for Jeni's ice cream, an expensive brand of ice cream that sells for $12 a pint.

"I eat Jeni’s ice cream — chocolate chip. I came down because I heard there was chocolate chip ice cream," he continued. "By the way, I have a whole refrigerator full upstairs."

Many took issue with Biden's tone. The event was his first public appearance since the shooting at the Covenant School, a private Christian school in Nashville where a deranged "transgender" woman killed three young children and staffers Monday.

Later in his remarks, Biden addressed the "sick" massacre in Tennessee by shamelessly standing atop a pile of dead children and plugging an assault weapons ban.

"You know, the shooter in this situation reportedly had two assault weapons and a pistol — two AK-47.  So I call on Congress, again, to pass my assault weapons ban," he said.

Out of touch

Biden's childlike fondness for ice cream has often been the butt of jokes as the country spirals into decline on his watch.

He claimed inflation was "transitory" during the early months of his presidency before shifting to blaming Republicans, and there are now concerns that the central bank's efforts to tame prices by hiking interest rates could crash the economy.

Jeni's Ice cream is apparently a favorite brand of corrupt career politicians in the Democratic party. Biden's ally, Nancy Pelosi (D-Ca.), saw backlash in 2020 for showing off an expensive freezer filled with the dessert during the COVID lockdowns that crippled the economy.

Biden's 2020 campaign reportedly spent tens of thousands of dollars on Jeni's Ice Cream.

The price of ice cream has spiked 13.9 percent since February of last year, but it sounds like Biden isn't worried about that.
