Fox News reported on Thursday that a federal judge blocked plans to release illegal migrants into the United States without court dates.
While that ruling could prove to be disastrous for President Joe Biden's plans, he nevertheless refused to take questions about it.
Biden ignored reporters at the White House on Friday afternoon following a meeting with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez.

According to Fox News, Judge Kent Wetherell II put a two-week hold on the use of "parole with conditions," a policy under which migrants need not be tracked or provided with a court date.
Fox News noted that although "parole without conditions" is typically reserved for those who face urgent humanitarian risks or will provide significant public benefit.
However, a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) memo contends that it is a necessary response to overcrowding at detention facilities.
"For the past 7 days, USBP has averaged over 8,750 encounters per day. This is over double the average daily encounters of 4,284 in May of 2019, the highest month of the 2019 surge," Fox News quoted it as saying.
"Even with significant personnel along the SWB [South West Border], a significant detention capacity, and interagency resources supporting the effort, this situation requires urgent action," the memo added.
That problem is expected to grow exponentially due to the end of Title 42, a Trump-era COVID rule that allowed illegal immigrants to be quickly deported.
Wetherell's ruling came in response to a lawsuit filed by Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody which challenged the use of "parole without conditions."
He reviewed the Department of Homeland Security's rationale for the widespread use of "parole without conditions" before complaining that it "rings hollow."
What's more, Wetherell pointed to the president's recent admission that there has been "chaos at the border for a number of years."
Q: "Can you expand on what you meant when you said there's going to be chaos at the border?"
BIDEN: "Say that again?"
