Biden running out of time to reverse decline or 'drop out': report

Joe Biden is running out of time to "get popular" and reverse the downward trajectory of his presidency.

A blunt analysis in Business Insider spelled out the choices for Biden - either fix things now or "drop out."

Biden's average approval rating is the lowest of any president at this point since 1945.

Donald Trump - who Biden has increasingly likened to Hitler - was more popular with an approval of 43% at this point in his presidency, compared to 39% for Biden.

Biden drop out decision

A number of factors are working together to squeeze Biden like a vise.

His age is now universally accepted as a liability, and staggering prices and interest rates have left Americans scrambling to keep their heads above water.

The crisis at the border and the war in Israel have fueled further doubts about his leadership, bur Biden's options for responding are limited by the lunatic progressives in his base.

Democrats have threatened to tank any efforts by Biden to compromise on border security, despite the deep unpopularity of Biden's immigration agenda - and pressure from Republicans to negotiate in exchange for foreign aid to Ukraine and Israel.

The war in Israel has become a political hot potato as well. Biden's support of Israel has alienated young liberals - and Muslim voters who comprise a sizeable minority in some key swing states like Michigan.

And many say Biden has fundamentally failed in his promise to heal the nation's divisions and restore "decency."

Instead, Biden is tearing Americans apart and doubling down in defense of his family's corruption, which has become an eyesore for his embattled re-election bid.

Saving "our democracy"

Democrats have responded to these trends by doubling down on lawfare to neutralize Trump, whom Biden has increasingly likened to infamous dictators like Hitler.

Biden is framing the election as a battle to save "our democracy," but it's unclear how persuasive that message will be when Democrats are trying to remove Trump from the ballot.

In a shocking break from civic norms, Biden celebrated the decision of Colorado's Supreme Court to remove Trump from the ballot over the so-called "insurrection" at the Capitol.

“It’s self-evident. You saw it all. Now whether the 14th Amendment applies, I’ll let the court make that decision,” Biden said. “But he certainly supported an insurrection. No question about it. None. Zero.”

Despite the efforts of Biden-supporting courts and prosecutors to railroad Trump, Biden is behind by almost 3 points nationally.
