President Joe Biden is unsurprisingly being praised by Democrats and his media allies for his reaction to the Hamas-led attack on Israel last week, but he's already made several major missteps in the eyes of many. 

According to the New York Post, the elderly, stumbling president made a brow-raising remark in Philadelphia last week with regard to the Hamas terrorist attack, claiming the group makes Al Qaeda terrorists look "pure."

As he literally stumbled up the stairs to the stage, nearly falling at one point, Biden went on to make several asinine remarks.

In the opinion of many, Biden has already mismanaged the United States' response to the Hamas attack, including taking his time to respond to it in the first place, and his eerie silence regarding the fate of dozens of Americans thought to be held captive.

What did he say?

After he was able to balance himself at the podium, Biden made the ridiculous comparison to Al Qaeda, a savage terror group responsible for some of the most atrocious acts of cowardly terrorism around the world.

"These guys make — they make Al Qaeda look pure. They’re pure evil,” Biden said of the Hamas terrorists who attacked Israel. "As I said from the beginning, the United States, make no mistake about it, stands with Israel.”

Far from "pure"

Al Qaeda has a long track record of killing innocent civilians around the world. Reuters has a running list of such attacks, with several notables.

"Feb. 26, 1993 - Six people are killed when a bomb in a van explodes under the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York. Osama bin Laden is linked to the attack," Reuters noted.

Another one included, "Aug. 7, 1998 - Truck bombs explode at U.S. embassies in Nairobi and Dar es Salaam killing 224, including 12 Americans. Two weeks later, U.S. President Bill Clinton names bin Laden Washington’s biggest enemy and launches cruise missiles at sites in Afghanistan and Sudan."

There was the bombing of a U.S. warship, carried out by Biden's "pure" Al Qaeda terrorist organization.

"Oct. 12, 2000 - Bombing of U.S. warship Cole in Aden harbour kills 17 sailors and blows hole in navy vessel’s hull."

Of course, its most notable and deadly attack was that on American soil on September 11, 2001.

"Sept. 11, 2001 - Three hijacked planes crash into major U.S. landmarks, destroying New York’s twin World Trade Center towers and plunging into the Pentagon in the worst such attack in modern history. A fourth hijacked plane crashes in Pennsylvania. Nearly 3,000 people are killed in total."
