Acorn Stairlifts Inc., a company that specializes in the manufacture and installation of stairlifts, took a big swing in the form of a lighthearted dig at President Joe Biden.

The company recently tweeted a sales pitch that took a jab at Biden's recent fall while walking up the stairs to board Air Force One in Poland, according to a report by The Daily Wire.

The tweet stated, “Tired of stumbling up the stairs? We strive to help all of those in need across our nation. Whether you live in small town USA or on Pennsylvania Avenue, we are ready to help you regain your independence.”

The tweet was accompanied by hashtags such as “#ChairForceOne” and “#StairForce,” which poked fun at the president's fall.

The tweet quickly went viral, gaining nearly a quarter-million views as of Sunday, despite the company having fewer than 400 followers on Twitter.

Acorn Stairlifts celebrated the post by sharing a GIF from the film “Jumanji: The Next Level” showing Danny DeVito gleefully riding a stairlift.

Although Biden has been caught on camera stumbling multiple times, the White House physician Kevin O’Connor confirmed in a recent memo that the president "remains a healthy, vigorous 80-year-old male who is fit to successfully execute the duties of the Presidency."

Despite concerns raised about his health, Biden has expressed his intention to run for a second term in 2024, although he has not formally declared his campaign.

Acorn Stairlifts' tweet shows how quickly and easily companies can gain attention on social media by tapping into current events and news stories.

While some might see it as an inappropriate joke at the president's expense, others might view it as a harmless marketing tactic that successfully garnered attention and increased brand recognition.

Ultimately, the success or failure of such campaigns will depend on public perception and the reactions of potential customers.

Biden's health has been in the news once again as Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley calls for cognitive tests for older politicians.

“In the America I see, the permanent politician will finally retire,” Haley said Wednesday during a speech in Columbia, South Carolina, launching her White House bid. “We’ll have term limits for Congress and mandatory mental competency tests for politicians over 75 years old."

"America is not past its prime; it's just that our politicians are past theirs,” the 51-year-old Republican later added. The 51-year-old former United Nations ambassador has elicited questions from media personality Don Lemon who asked if she is past her "prime," which caused him to be accused of sexism.
