Bob Menendez Pleads Not Guilty

In case you had any doubts about which way disgraced Senator Bob Menendez was going to plead...

The wait is over...

NOT GUILTY.

Sigh... Now it's time for due process and fairness and the justice system and all that stuff.

That's simply the American way, but if there was anyone in America who doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt right now...

It's Bob Menendez.

Around the time Bob Menendez started dating his wife, Nadine Menendez, the indictment says that Nadine began holding "meetings and direct communications with multiple Egyptian officials, at least some of whom she understood were intelligence officials, and received requests from them, and conveyed information and requests from them to Menendez."

Bob Menendez of New Jersey has now officially pleaded not guilty to all four charges that have been brought against him.

Three of the charges stemmed from his "alleged acceptance of bribes in September," according to dailycaller.com. The fourth charge is the one Menendez most recently pleaded not guilty to, and was one count of conspiracy for a public official to act as a foreign agent.

Menendez had already pleaded not guilty to three of the charges related to bribery, now this gives him the perfect sweep.

He's guilty, but Bob won't admit it.

Bob really thinks we're going to believe that he's innocent in all this, saying that the charges "flies in the face of my long record of standing up for human rights and democracy in Egypt and in challenging leaders of that country, including President (Fattah) El-Sisi on these issues."

Menendez can flap his gums all he wants, but even other Democrats are sick of his nonsense.

John Fetterman, the Democrat Senator from Pennsylvania who famously beat out the Trump-endorsed Dr. Oz for his seat, has gone so far as to call for Senator Bob Menendez to resign from Congress.

"Senator Menendez should not be a U.S Senator. He should have been gone long ago. It is time for every one of my colleagues in the Senate to join me in expelling Senator Menendez. We cannot have an alleged foreign agent in the United States Senate. This is not a close call."

I agree, John.
