Tony Bobulinski, a former business associate of the Biden family, testified on Tuesday before the House Oversight Committee about his prior dealings with President Joe Biden and others as part of House Republicans' ongoing impeachment inquiry against the president.

Bobulinski is said to have provided "unshakeable" testimony that included a reiteration of his prior claim that Joe Biden is the "big guy" mentioned in business-related emails and asserted that the president "continues to lie" about his level of involvement and knowledge of his family's foreign business dealings, Fox News reported.

He was also said to have been viciously and repeatedly attacked and smeared during his eight-hour testimony by Democrats on the committee who didn't want to hear what he had to say.

Biden is "the brand," has lied about involvement in family business dealings

In a statement issued Tuesday, Oversight Committee Chair James Comer said, "Tony Bobulinski articulated under oath that Joe Biden was 'the brand' the Bidens sold to enrich the family."

"Joe Biden not only knew about his family’s dealings with a Chinese Communist Party linked energy company, but he also enabled them and participated in them," he continued. "Tony Bobulinski testified he believes Joe Biden committed wrongdoing and continues to lie to the American people about his participation in his family’s influence peddling schemes."

"Mr. Bobulinski was unshakeable in his testimony today, providing facts Democrats didn’t want to hear," Comer stated. "As such, Democrats put on a shameful display as they yelled at Mr. Bobulinski, cut him off, belittled him, and threatened him. It’s behavior that I’ve frankly never seen before in a transcribed interview."

The chairman added, "We will soon release the transcript to provide the American people with transparency about Joe Biden’s involvement in his family’s shady schemes and Democrats’ efforts to smear Mr. Bobulinski for blowing the whistle."

Bobulinski again confirms that Biden is the "big guy" in family business dealings

Fox News, citing unnamed sources familiar with Bobulinski's testimony to the committee, reported that the U.S. Navy veteran and former partner of Hunter Biden testified about how he "personally met" and discussed business with Joe Biden in 2017, and stated definitively at one point, "The Biden family business was Joe Biden, period."

He also reiterated information he first raised publicly in 2020 about a 2017 email discussing "remuneration packages" for a business deal with now-defunct Chinese energy firm CEFC and how the equity would be broken down percentage-wise among the participants with "20 for H," meaning Hunter, and "10 held by H for the big guy," with the "big guy" being Joe Biden.

The outlet reported that it exclusively obtained a copy of Bobulinski's opening statement, in which he said of the president, "His family’s foreign influence peddling operation -- from China to Ukraine and elsewhere -- sold out to foreign actors who were seeking to gain influence and access to Joe Biden and the United States government."

"Joe Biden was more than a participant in and beneficiary of his family’s business; he was an enabler, despite being buffered by a complex scheme to maintain plausible deniability," he added. "The only reason any of these international business transactions took place -- with tens of millions of dollars flowing directly to the Biden family -- was because Joe Biden was in high office."

Attorney calls out Democrats' "gaslighting and vilification" of Bobulinski's testimony

As for how committee Democrats treated Bobulinski, the New York Post reported that the former Biden family associate's attorney, Stefan Passantino, sent an angry letter to Ranking Member Jaime Raskin (D-MD) to complain about the "abusive conduct and disingenuous mischaracterizations" Democrats had engaged in against his client.

"Minority assassination of Mr. Bobulinski’s character and grotesque mischaracterizations of his words will only serve to highlight the gaslighting and vilification Mr. Bobulinski has endured since he reluctantly came forward almost four years ago to share with the public the facts of his business experience with the Biden family," Passatino wrote. "As the public will see soon enough, Mr. Bobulinski has the facts and the receipts, and no amount of character assassination will change that."

"Mr. Bobulinski will vigorously defend his honor, reputation, and patriotism against all who choose to ignore the facts and deflect from the truth by issuing falsehoods and engaging in rank character assassination," the attorney added. "The truth is coming -- and those who choose to knowingly perpetuate false narratives by dishonestly attacking Mr. Bobulinski will find themselves on the wrong side of history."
