Cameras catch Biden on vacation at the beach in Delaware ... again

When President Joe Biden ended his re-election campaign in July, he vowed to continue working hard at his job until the conclusion of his time in office, but that promise hasn't been kept.

Over the long weekend, Biden was caught on camera numerous times near his vacation home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, according to the Cape Gazette.

While this was admittedly a holiday weekend and not much is occurring in Washington D.C. at the moment, in truth the sightings of Biden vacationing at the beach weren't all that different from any other normal weekend throughout his nearly complete four-year term.

Biden spotted on vacation ... again

The reader-submitted photos published by the Cape Gazette showed President Biden riding around in a presidential SUV and being flown around in the Marine One helicopter, as well as a motorcade that is believed to have shuttled first lady Jill Biden into town to run some errands.

Delaware Online also published a series of photos snapped over the weekend that showed the Bidens taking a long stroll along the beach, accompanied at a short distance away by a contingent of Secret Service agents and staffers.

According to Sky News, the elderly president also revealed the toll of his 81 years when cameras caught him struggling mightily to trudge through the sand, at one point even needing the assistance of his wife to remain upright and not take a tumble.

So much for Biden "working like hell" until his term ends

As noted, given that Monday was Veterans Day, this was an extended holiday weekend for many Americans, and President Biden was likely not alone in deciding to spend some of that time at the beach before the weather becomes too cold for such a jaunt to be enjoyable.

Yet, records show that Biden has spent a substantial portion of his presidency relaxing at the beach instead of working at the White House, which sharply undermines the promise he made when he was compelled to end his re-election bid in July.

At that time, according to CBS News, Biden announced to the country that he was "not going anywhere" just yet and, in fact, would be "working like hell" as the sitting president, both to get necessary legislation passed to further his agenda and on the campaign trail to help his replacement as the Democratic nominee, Vice President Kamala Harris, get elected as the next president.

Alas, for him, neither of those stated goals came to be, as what is left of his agenda remains stalled and Harris was soundly defeated by President-elect Donald Trump.

Biden was a part-time president

The New York Post reported in September, two months ago, that President Biden had already taken around 532 vacation days during his presidency, which equates to around 40% of his time in office -- far more than that estimated 26% of former President Trump's term that was spent away from the White House and was constantly and harshly criticized by the media.

Astonishingly, the Post further noted that the massive amount of vacation time for Biden, who incessantly claimed to represent and meet the needs of the average working American, was equal to approximately 48 years worth of accumulated vacation time for said workers, given the typical average of two weeks per year.

Furthermore, even when he wasn't on vacation, Biden was never "working like hell" at his job, as records show that he routinely clocked in and out, so to speak, at around 10 am to 4 pm, which isn't even a full workday for the average American.

For better or for worse, depending upon one's perspective, Biden was essentially a part-time worker for the past four years -- yet he still managed to perform poorly and in nearly all aspects of the job, from domestic to foreign policy and from the economy to social issues, virtually all of which are arguably worse than they were before he took office.
