Background
Charlie Sheen recently released a new memoir, titled, The Book of Sheen. It was in this memoir that the actor revealed an incident, involving his ex and Clinton, that occurred back in the 1980s.
The New York Post reports:
Charlie Sheen is claiming that Bill Clinton tried to steal his girlfriend. In his new memoir, “The Book of Sheen,” the 60-year-old actor said the alleged incident happened while he was filming 1987’s “Three for the Road” with Alan Ruck and Kerri Green in Arkansas. Clinton, who was the governor of Arkansas at the time, welcomed the trio to his mansion for a photo-op, claimed Sheen, who brought along his girlfriend at the time, Dolly Fox.
The outlet goes on to quote directly from Sheen's memoir.
The actor wrote:
It was pretty surreal as Governor Clinton gave me a pair of red-and-white Razorback shoes, intentionally tacky and modeled after the mascot of Arkansas’ sports teams. I was answering a reporter’s question when Ruck overheard Clinton whisper to one of his aides, ‘Find out what you can about the brunette.
Sheen went on to write, "Clearly the behavior that transformed an intern a few years later into a household name had been in play long before her blue dress became famous."
It's true!
Fox is now claiming that Sheen's memoir is indeed accurate.
Page Six reports:
Fox confirmed the incident to Page Six, and, it turns out, has multiple ties to the Clintons!
The outlet goes on to detail some of those ties.
It writes:
She was pals with Miss America 1982, Elizabeth Ward — who alleged she’d had a tryst with Clinton. Fox also told us, “Hillary [Clinton] and my mother [became] very good friends.” Fox’s late mother, Yolande, was Miss America 1951, and an activist who hosted political events in her Georgetown home, the Newton D. Baker House. Fox told us her mother was also good friends with Clinton’s mom, Virginia Kelley, and “they would go to the racetrack together.” Fox’s mom even hosted one of Clinton’s official inaugural parties in Washington, DC, she explained. “And it gets crazier because Monica Lewinski’s mother was a friend of my mothers!” she said.
Fox called all of this "an incestuous funny story."
