Although Ella Emhoff is now sporting a fresh bob hairdo, this is not the first time that she has showcased this particular hairstyle. 

On Wednesday, the second daughter/model posted a selfie of herself on Instagram, showing that she had recently received a new haircut and a new look, as Hello Magazine reported.

After posing for the mirror selfie, she presented another snapshot of herself with a hairstyle that was very similar to the one she had when she was a child. Her long, wavy hair had been cropped into a clean bob.

The Photograph

Ella appeared to be in the middle of a song when the photograph was taken, giving the impression that it was taken during a performance.

She had lighter hair than she does now, but the curls were still very noticeable and her tresses were lighter. Despite this, it is possible that viewers might not have recognized the small girl as Ella for a moment.

"You can call me ella “the bob” emhoff," the stepdaughter of Kamala Harris said in the caption of the photo, before adding: "I did indeed copy everyone else getting a bob."

Her social media followers praised her chop and expressed their admiration with hearts and compliments.

Second Daughter's Career

After establishing a successful profession as a model and knitwear designer, Ella is now covered with tattoos and a distinctive appearance that she takes great pride in.

However, her catwalk career was unexpected, and after being contracted by IMG Models, she told The New York Times:

"I was pretty surprised when everything with IMG was happening because when I was younger, I never saw that as being part of my timeline.

"As someone who, like a lot of young girls out there, had self-confidence issues, it is intimidating and scary to go into this world that is hyper-focused on you and the body."

Ella acknowledges that she has "really weird tattoos and kind of a funky haircut," but she remains confident in her physical appearance.

At least eighteen tattoos cover her person, including a birthday cake, a flower container, and a smiley face comprised of eggs and bacon, all on her left arm.

Ella disclosed to Garage in 2021 that she had started tattooing herself during the pandemic: "I did the classic: I did my dog's name, and I did a little flower. I recently did my first big boy: [a] salmon fish with a flower hanging out of its mouth."

Regarding her infamous unibrow, Ella is completely content with it.

"When I was younger, I would pluck my middle brow area," she told People. "But I recently stopped and it's amazing. I think everyone should just embrace their little unibrows."
