U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas' financial disclosures pale in comparison to his colleague Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson's disclosures. 

The Washington Examiner, in fact, reports that Jackson has received 10 times as much income as Thomas on a yearly basis.

This all comes as the political left has placed tremendous scrutiny on conservative Supreme Court justices - especially Thomas - for alleged ethics violations.

One would think that these financial disclosures should vindicate Thomas, but we are already seeing that they will not, as the mainstream media is paying very little attention to Jackson's disclosures while overemphasizing Thomas'.

Thomas makes two amendments to his disclosures

What the mainstream media is focusing on is the fact that Thomas has amended his 2023 financial disclosure forms to include previously unreported trips overseas that were paid for by his friend conservative businessman Harlan Crow.

According to Fox News, the filing states:

During the preparation and filing of this report, filer sought and received guidance from his accountant and ethics counsel. Consistent with the review of prior filings that the filer began last year, report for calendar year 2019 is hereby amended to include the following entries under the reimbursement section, which was inadvertently omitted at the time of filing . . ."

Here are the two entries:

• Source: Harlan & Kathy Crow Dates: July 12, 2019: Location: Bali, Indonesia Purpose: Guests of Source Items Paid or Provided: Food and Lodging at Hotel
• Source: Harlan Crow Dates: July 18-21, 2019: Location: Monte Rio, CA Purpose: Guest of Source Items Paid or Provided: Food and Lodging at Private Club."

Something worth highlighting is the amount of money that Thomas has received, in one form or another, since becoming a member of the Supreme Court, over three decades ago.

That figure is about $4 million, or a little over $100,000 per year.

Here's what the mainstream media is hiding:

Jackson has received nearly $1 million in the past year alone.

According to the National Pulse, a little over $890,000 of that figure comes from book advances that Jackson has received.

The Examiner additionally reports, "Jackson also detailed that she received four tickets from Beyonce valued at $3,711.84, and she received artwork for her chambers from Lonnie Holley, Dr. Kathi Earles-Ross, and Howard University scholars for a combined value of $12,500."

It sure does seem to pay to be a liberal Supreme Court justice. Jackson has received in one year a quarter of what Thomas has received in the past 33 years.

Where's the mainstream media's outrage at this, as it was outraged at Thomas?
