Fox News reported that conservative activist Chaya Raichik was inundated with violent threats earlier this year after Washington Post journalist Taylor Lorenz revealed that she operated the Twitter account Libs of TikTok.

When Raichik recently discussed the personal crisis with Fox News host Tucker Carlson, she said that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis was quick to offer aid.

DeSantis: Come and stay as long as you need

Raichik told Carlson during Wednesday's broadcast of his nightly show that DeSantis offered to let her stay in Florida's governor's mansion.

"When I was doxxed, someone from Ron DeSantis’ team called me, and she said the governor wanted me to give you a message," Raichik explained.

"He said if you don’t feel safe or you or your family need a place to go, to hide, to stay here, you can come to the governor’s mansion. That we have a guest house for you, and you can come and stay as long as you need," she continued.

"I was almost in tears," Raichik recalled. "I’m living in California and he took time out of his, I’m assuming, extremely busy schedule. And to send someone to call me to make sure I’m safe."

Raichik later put out a tweet in which she described meeting DeSantis in person and thanking him for his offer to help.

"He was so gracious," she said. "Brushed it off. He said 'of course! You do great work!' It wasn’t even a question for him. Genuinely a kindhearted person."

Leftist outraged over DeSantis' offer

Raichik's words were met with outrage from Democrats online, with left-wing influencer and merchandise saleswoman JoJo From Jerz tweeting, "This is beyond f--ked up I don’t even have the words for how f--ked up it is."

Meanwhile, others accused DeSantis of being "disgraceful" for "offering safe harbor to trans and homophobic garbage."

For her part, Raichik has continued to expose radicalism, such as on Thursday when she retweeted footage from a sexually charged Christmas drag show.
