Controversial lawyer said to be among those Trump is considering for attorney general
Some observers have claimed that President-elect Donald Trump will make choosing the right attorney general one of his highest staffing priorities.
One potential pick that Trump has reportedly considered is Mike Davis, a figure who is known for being aggressive.
"I want to drag their dead political bodies through the streets"
According to the Daily Mail, that trait was on display when Davis took to social media on the day after Trump's historic win.
"Here's my current mood," Davis declared. "I want to drag their dead political bodies through the streets, burn them, and throw them off the wall. (Legally, politically, and financially, of course.)"

This was not Davis' first provocative post-election statement, as in an earlier post he wrote, "F--k unity. We have the votes. And they tried to kill Trump."
Trump said Davis "is tough as hell"
Even if he does not become attorney general, the Washington Post nevertheless suggested last month that he is likely to have a place in Trump's administration.
The newspaper noted how Trump spoke words of praise at Davis while holding a campaign event in Colorado, saying, "This guy is tough as hell. We want him in a very high capacity."
That capacity could include assisting the president with making judicial appointments, with the Post pointing out how Davis previously served as a clerk to Supreme Court Justice Neil M. Gorsuch.
What's more, Davis also functioned as a lawyer for Senate Republicans during Trump's first term and "helped move hundreds of his appointments" towards confirmation.
Report: Federal judge also being considered for AG
However, Davis isn't the only person said to be in the running for attorney general, as ABC News reported late last month that Judge Aileen Cannon is also being looked at.
Cannon made headlines earlier this year when she dismissed charges that Trump had mishandled classified documents.
In her ruling, Cannon concluded that the appointment of Special Counsel Jack Smith had been unconstitutional and he thus lacked authority to prosecute the former president.
ABC News based its report on an internal Trump campaign document titled "Transition Planning: Legal Principals," which also suggested former Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Chairman Jay Clayton as a possible attorney general.
