The widow of Corey Comperatore, the heroic firefighter who was shot dead by an assassin at a Donald Trump rally on Saturday, confirmed that she doesn't want to speak with President Joe Biden.

Helen Comperatore told the New York Post, "I didn’t talk to Biden. I didn’t want to talk to him. My husband was a devout Republican and he would not have wanted me to talk to him."

Comperatore was a married father of two and was attending Trump’s rally in Butler, Pa., on Saturday with his family.

When shots rang out as assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, opened fire, Comperatore yelled “Get down,” and covered his family before he was fatally struck by bullets meant for Trump.

He died a hero but he leaves behind his grieving family whose day went from an exciting moment they had all been looking forward to, to a tragic one that changed their lives forever.

Comperatore's Widow Speaks Out

Helen Comperatore stated that, "I don’t have any ill will towards Joe Biden. I’m not one of those people that gets involved in politics. I support Trump. That’s who I’m voting for, but I don’t have ill will towards Biden. He didn’t do anything bad to my husband. A 20-year-old despicable kid did."

This tragedy has been a disaster for President Joe Biden who just recently was talking about putting Trump in the "crosshairs" following Biden's disastrous debate appearance.

In fact, Biden has fully embraced the left's harsh rhetoric against Trump.

Trump has been accused of being an existential threat to democracy and Biden has happily amplified the message that Trump is a threat to the nation as a whole.

The left has treated Trump as if he is the reincarnation of Adolph Hitler for years so the fact that an unhinged individual decided to take shots at him isn't surprising.

While Comperatore's widow is correct in saying Biden likely had no direct hand in Saturday's tragedy, it is undeniable that the Democrat Party has happily demonized Trump and his supporters for years.

Democrats In Damage Control Mode

Since the attempt on Trump's life, Democrats have called for "unity" and for the lowering of political temperatures. However, there has been no acknowledgment of the role that the Democrat Party or the mainstream media has played in increasing tensions.

There have been no apologies to Trump for the divisive and hyperbolic attacks and many leftists even celebrated the attack or bemoaned the fact that Trump's attacker had bad aim.

The attempt on Trump's life and the killing of Corey Comperatore, who was an upstanding citizen, make it clear that it is time to hold Democrats accountable.

Democrats have demonized their opposition for years and it began long before Trump came along. Democrats have thrown around words like "Nazi" in describing conservatives for years and now it is time that Americans demand an end to it now before more lives are lost.
