Criminal that Biden freed from prison early arrested again on gun charge
The soft-on-crime Biden administration reduced the prison sentences of literally thousands of convicts who were locked up for drug and gun offenses, and now the obvious and inevitable result of that moronic decision is coming to fruition.
According to Fox News, a felon who only did a fraction of his prison sentence thanks to a Biden clemency initiative was -- you guessed it -- arrested again for another serious crime.
Federal prosecutors revealed that 31-year-old Khyre Holbert, who only served seven years of his 21-year sentence thanks to Biden's lack of caring about keeping violent criminals behind bars, was arrested after a shooting in Omaha, Nebraska.
Holbert had been serving time for narcotics and firearms charges, according to the report.
What's going on?
Holbert was one of the lucky convicts who was part of Biden's extremely long list of violent criminals to have their prison sentences shortened significantly.
Fox News noted:
Holbert’s sentence had been commuted in January 2025 despite objections from the U.S. Attorney’s Office, which warned of his gang ties, long criminal record and prior weapons convictions. Months later, he’s accused of reoffending and his case has thrust former President Joe Biden’s clemency program back into the national spotlight.
According to prosecutors, Holbert had "discarded a loaded handgun fitted with a high-capacity magazine as officers closed in, a weapon later tied to several other violent crimes across Nebraska."

Michael Rushford, founder and president of the Criminal Justice Legal Foundation, took issue with Holbert's clemency.
"I don’t think you can delegate clemency," Rushford told Fox News Digital. "It was never intended that a president delegate that authority. I think what we saw were clemencies being granted without the president’s direct knowledge. Why would he sign off on 31 drug dealers? Why would you sign off on a murderer?" he said.
Social media reacts
Users across social media weighed in on the latest update regarding Holbert's situation.
"Anything President autopen signed is null and void, especially the pardons," one X user wrote.
Another X user wrote, "Biden should be held personally responsible and sued for this. Outrageous."
Sadly, this likely will not be the last story of its kind in the coming months and years.
