Dems, including Bill and Hillary Clinton, praise Trump for Hamas, Israel peace deal

President Donald Trump's ability to secure a peace deal between Israel and Hamas is nothing short of a major, legacy-level accomplishment -- so much so that most high-profile Democrats have to admit it.

According to JustTheNews, a number of Democrats have come out of the woodwork with varying levels of praise for the president, including former President Bill Clinton and his wife, failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

Even former President Joe Biden gave the Trump administration credit, though he first gave his administration props for what it claims it did to help make the deal happen before Trump was president.

Former President Barack Obama was the only one who praised the situation but didn't really give the Trump administration the credit for making it happen, which shouldn't come as a surprise.

What was said?

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was one of the first high-profile Dems to praise Trump and his administration for securing the historic deal.

"It’s a really significant first step and I really commend Trump and his administration as well as Arab leaders in the region for making the commitment to the 20-point plan and seeing a path forward for what's often called the day after," she said.

Her husband echoed the praise, specifically giving credit to the president and his administration, along with other nations and "regional actors."

"President Trump and his administration, Qatar, and other regional actors deserve great credit for keeping everyone engaged until the agreement was reached," Bill Clinton remarked.

Perhaps one of the most shocking Dems to praise Trump was Leon Panetta, former CIA director under Obama.

"President Trump deserves a LOT of credit for bringing the parties together! This achievement – and it is a significant achievement – would not have happened without United States leadership," Panetta said.

Other Dems join in

Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) applauded President Trump for taking the steps to making the deal.

"Credit to @POTUS for a breakthrough ceasefire of this awful war," he wrote, in part, in a post regarding the situation.

It'll be interesting to see if any other Democrats in Congress offer Trump the credit he deserves.
