First responders descended on the Florida home of Donald Trump Jr. Monday over an envelope containing a death threat and a white powder.

Pictures of emergency personnel in hazmat suits were published online.

The substance was found to be harmless, but Donald Jr. cited the threat as an example of a disturbing trend.

Threat at Don Jr.'s home

This is the second time Donald Jr. received white powder in the mail since his father entered politics.

Donald Trump's eldest son said the threat would likely fall out of the news cycle fairly quickly because of biased media coverage.

"Clearly, if this happened to a prominent Democrat it wouldn’t be tolerated and would drive news coverage for weeks," he told the Daily Caller.

"The media would blame all Republicans and force them to answer for it, But since it’s me, radical haters on the left will largely get a free pass and the media will barely flinch."

The letter's disturbed author made a cryptic reference to Lee Harvey Oswald, adding that President Trump must be "silenced."

"Again, how many lives will be ruined before the psychopath Donald is silenced? Lee Harvey Oswald's grandson must complete his contract," the letter said.

No arrests yet

The letter was addressed to Don Jr. and his fiancée Kimberly Guilfoyle, as well as Don Jr.'s siblings Eric and Ivanka and their spouses and their half-sibling Barron Trump.

The author also referenced Guilfoyle's ex-husband, California governor Gavin Newsom (D), and Donald Trump's liberal niece Mary Trump, who was praised as a "class act."

"It's time for Mary to hear that Donald and his family have gone up in smoke when the "Trump" plane dives into the Atlantic ocean," the author wrote.

In 2018, Don Jr.'s then-wife Vanessa was sent to the hospital after opening a letter with a white powder, which was found to be benign.

“This is actually the second white powder substance envelope that’s been mailed to me," Don Jr. told the Daily Caller. "The last time we had this happen, it was during my father’s presidency and my then-wife opened it up with my kids by her side."

"So, it’s just sad that we live in a society where politics and the left’s hatred of my father would drive people to do such crazy things, but that’s where we are unfortunately," he added.

Police have not made any arrests in the latest incident.
