Donald Says Melania Will Return To Campaigning "Pretty Soon"

Donald Trump recently sat down for an interview with Kristen Welker of "Meet the Press."

During the interview, Donald Trump hinted toward a very interesting fact:

Melania Trump will be back in the spotlight soon.

After two grueling campaign trails, sandwiched around four years as America's First Lady, Melania deserved a break.

She hasn't been just wasting her time though, she's been doing something very important:

Being a mother.

Melania Trump's high-profile life often prevented her from spending quality time with her son, Barron Trump.

I applaud Melania for sitting out of much of Donald Trump's early campaigning and staying home to focus on that.

Sure, I'm sure Barron Trump is going to be very proud if his parents take back the presidency, but being able to spend time with your loving mother as a young adult might be worth even more.

There are millions of kids in America, and Barron Trump is one of them.

Sometimes, because of Donald's bombastic personality, we forget that Barron never asked to be in the spotlight.

He very much is, however.

Good for Melania for taking a few months off to make sure that Barron truly understood that he's more important to his mother than politics is.

"She's right now with Barron in school. She loves that boy. ... She'll be with us. She's very, very supportive," Trump told Kristen Welker.

"Honestly, I like to keep her away from it. It's so nasty and so mean."

Trump would know that politicians can't resist making fun of other people's wives, he's one of them.

Remember when Trump famously tweeted, "Be careful, Lyin' Ted, or I will spill the beans on your wife!"

Melania was by Donald's side when Donald declared his intent to pursue the presidency again.

She hasn't been seen much publicly since.

Trump says that Melania will start to make more appearances when the time is right.

"She's a private person, a great person, very confident person, and she loves our country very much. She'll be—at the appropriate time—she'll be out there," Donald claimed.

In a rare interview back in May, Melania said that she's still around, and she still supports her husband. "He has my support, and we look forward to restoring hope for the future and leading America with love and strength," Melania Trump said. "My husband achieved tremendous success in his first administration, and he can lead us toward greatness and prosperity once again."
