Former President Donald Trump has been tied to a number of high-profile women over the years, including former First Lady Melania Trump.

Yet in a bombshell announcement, Mr. Trump recently said that he does not believe his youngest son Barron has ever had a girlfriend.

Former president says Barron "doesn't mind being alone"

According to Page Six, the former president offered that revelation during an interview this past week with podcast host Patrick Bet-David.

Trump spoke highly of his 18-year-old son, praising Barron for being "very smart," a "very nice guy," as well as a "good student."

However, when asked whether his youngest child has a romantic partner, the elder Trump responded by saying, "I'm not sure he's there yet. I don't think he's had a girlfriend yet."

The former president stressed that while Barron "doesn't mind being alone," he is nevertheless "somebody that gets along with people."

Podcast hosts impressed by how Barron conducted dinner

This was not the first time Bet-David has spoken of Barron Trump, as earlier this year he recalled attending a dinner which the former president's son hosted.

The podcast host explained that he and the other attendees "watched Barron run dinner with stories, entertainment--everything."

Tom Ellsworth is one of Bet-David's co-hosts, and he also expressed a high opinion of Barron, pointing out that he "wasn't snide, he wasn't telling dirty jokes, he was very, very balanced, talking about getting ready to go to college."

Fellow podcast host Vincent Oshana spoke up too, saying that the president's youngest son was a "witty, smart, hilarious" individual with "a good head on his shoulders."

Barron unbothered by personal attacks from critics

Bet-David was also impressed by the fact that Barron seemed untroubled by the onslaught of public attacks now that he is of legal age.

"'They said the other day, it's officially fair game to come after me,'" Bet-David quoted him as saying. "'I don't care--good, do it. I get it, they've done it to every kid. What's the difference?'"

In her newly released memoir, Barron's mother spoke about how in 2016 television personality Rosie O’Donnell suggested that her son has autism.

"Barron’s experience of being bullied both online and in real life following the incident is a clear indication of the irreparable damage caused," Mrs. Trump wrote. "There is nothing shameful about autism (though O’Donnell’s tweet implied that there was), but Barron is not autistic."
