Page Six reported earlier this month that Donald Trump Jr. and his longtime fiancée Kimberly Guilfoyle had broken off their engagement.

Far from hiding her relationship with him, Trump's new mistress recently revealed that they had gone on a romantic getaway.  

Bettina Anderson's Instagram posts detail an Italian vacation

According to Page Six, Palm Beach socialite Bettina Anderson has shared multiple Instagram posts featuring her on a trip in Venice, Italy.

One post shows a traditional Venetian gondola while another includes "a pair of Frette slippers — which are available at luxury hotels."

While none of Anderson's posts include the president-elect's eldest son, images published by Page Six last week depicted the pair celebrating her birthday at a restaurant in Palm Beach.

Page Six noted the revelations came just a week after President-elect Donald Trump nominated Guilfoyle to serve as his ambassador to Greece.

President-elect hailed Guilfoyle as "a close friend and ally"

"For many years, Kimberly has been a close friend and ally," CNN quoted the president-elect as saying in a statement put up on Truth Social.

"Her extensive experience and leadership in law, media, and politics along with her sharp intellect make her supremely qualified to represent the United States, and safeguard its interests abroad," he declared.

"Kimberly is perfectly suited to foster strong bilateral relations with Greece, advancing our interests on issues ranging from defense cooperation to trade and economic innovation," Trump went on to add.

For his part, Donald Trump Jr. issued a statement to Page Six praising Guilfoyle after her nomination, saying, "Kimberly and I will never stop caring for each other and will always keep a special bond."

"I could not be more proud of her and the important role she'll continue to play in my father‘s administration," he stressed. "Anyone taking baseless and petty fake news cheap shots at her in the tabloids are just embarrassing themselves."

"She's been an undefeated prosecutor, national TV news star, a leader of the MAGA movement and close advisor to the president.

"The people of Greece are getting an absolute star and now the whole world will see it more than ever," Trump insisted.

"Since the very beginning, no one on Team Trump has worked harder than Kimberly to help elect and reelect my father — and no one deserves this ambassadorship more than she does," Trump concluded.
