Dr. Phil guests reveal truth about Trump-Harris debate

According to body language experts interviewed by Dr. Phil, the ABC News hosts who moderated the recently held presidential debate were openly hostile toward former President Donald Trump.

In other words, according to these experts, it was clearly an unfair debate.

Now, one does not need to be a body language expert to have come to this conclusion, but Fox News reports that Dr. Phil spoke with two who did, namely, Scott Rouse and Greg Hartley.

Fox explains:

Rouse holds multiple certificates in advanced interrogation training and has been trained alongside the FBI, Secret Service, U.S. Military Intelligence, and the Department of Defense. Hartley is a former Army interrogator with expertise in intelligence, business, body language and behavior.

"Thumb on the scale"

Dr. Phil began by asking Rouse and Hartley whether they saw any indications of bias on the part of the debate moderators, David Muir and Linsey Davis.

Hartley replied:

Let's just look at body language, look at the facial expressions of people when they're looking at Trump. There was clearly a bias against Trump in their faces. There's a little bit of a thumb on the scale when you ask one person [i.e. Trump] two questions in a row as the primary question, and it's a softball question [to Harris] that feels like bias to me. I would challenge them to tell me why that's not biased if I were in his situation.

Rouse highlighted the fact that the moderators were willing to interrupt Trump but not Harris.

He said:

At the same time, we're seeing the commentators, they would be speaking at the same time President Trump was. So as he's trying to finish his answer, they would keep- they would not only answer, they would keep talking as well. And you can tell, I believe, if I'm correct here, the volume of [Trump’s] microphone might have been a little bit "hotter" than everybody else's. That's why he sounded so loud. He was speaking loudly, but I think you'll hear this when you listen back- this is my opinion. So whether that was on purpose to make him sound more aggressive, I don't know. But he was pretty loud in there.

Dr. Phil and his guests went on to discuss other aspects of the debate, particularly those they so as bias, such as the constant fact-checking of Trump.

The truth comes out

Davis recently revealed how she, Muir, and ABC prepared for the debate, particularly for the relentless fact-checks of Trump.

The Los Angeles Times reported:

Davis, wearing pink glasses while speaking to The Times over breakfast at the Ritz Carlton in Philadelphia, said the decision to attempt to correct the candidates was in response to the June 27 CNN debate between Trump and President Biden, whose poor performance led to his exit from the race.

The Times went on to report Davis as saying, "People were concerned that statements were allowed to just hang and not [be] disputed by the candidate Biden, at the time, or the moderators."

There, of course, were at least two problems with the so-called fact-checking. One was that the moderators never fact-checked Harris, even though she told blatant lies. And, the other is that some of the fact-checks of Trump were verifiably false.

It should be clear to all by now that it was not much of a debate, rather, it was an ambush of Trump.
