Elon Musk named in Epstein files
Elon Musk is named in some of the Jeffrey Epstein files that were recently released by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee.
The New York Post reports the files as revealing that Musk, at one point, was scheduled to visit Epstein's infamous island.
Musk, though, as we will see is denying any wrongdoing.
Shame on Sky News for this utterly misleading headline. Anyone pushing this false narrative deserves complete contempt.
Epstein tried to get me to go to his island and I REFUSED, yet they name me even before Prince Andrew, who did visit. https://t.co/9Pd3LXFeFm

The details
According to The Post, the recently released Epstein files show that Musk was scheduled to go to Epstein's island back in 2014.
Per the outlet:
Billionaire Elon Musk was scheduled to visit the late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s notorious private island in the Caribbean in December 2014, according to documents made public Friday — a revelation that comes months after the ex-DOGE chief accused President Trump of being implicated in the “Epstein files.” The Tesla and SpaceX boss was slated to travel “to island” on Dec. 6, 2014, according to a copy of Epstein’s daily agenda released by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee.
The Post goes on to report that Epstein was not there at the time.
It writes:
The schedule indicates that Epstein was not at Little St. James in the US Virgin Islands when Musk was due to visit, but was instead at his ranch in New Mexico. The private island was referred to as “Pedophile Island” due to allegations he sexually abused young girls there.
The Post also cites a source "close to Musk" as stating that "Elon never went" and that Musk had "no social relationship" with Epstein.
"Shame on you"
Musk, following the release of the files, took to social media to defend himself, particularly against any reporting that attempts to link him to Epstein's criminal activities.
Musk, for example, singled out Sky News for reporting, "Elon Muska nd Prince Andrew named in latest Epstein files release."
Musk replied:
Shame on Sky News for this utterly misleading headline. Anyone pushing this false narrative deserves complete contempt. Epstein tried to get me to go to his island and I REFUSED, yet they name me even before Prince Andrew, who did visit.
Musk, according to the Daily Mail, also hit back at an article from Forbes.
The outlet reports, "Musk also hit back at a Forbes article that claimed he had planned a trip to the island, writing on X: 'This is false'."
