Elon Musk reveals $330 million in government business loans were given to children
Shortly after he took office, President Donald Trump tasked Elon Musk with using the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to eliminate fraud and wasteful spending.
The latest example of his work came earlier this week when Musk revealed that some $330 million worth of business loans had been given out to children.
One business loan was awarded to a 9-month-old baby
According to Breitbart, the DOGE head brought that information to light when he spoke during a cabinet meeting held at the White House on Monday.
DOGE found $330 million in SBA loans to children under 11 years old with the youngest being a 9-month-old baby who received a $100,000 loan.

"A case of fraud was with the Small Business Administration [SBA], where they were handing out loans — $330 million worth of loans to people under the age of 11," Musk explained.
"I think the youngest, Kelly, was a nine-month year old who got a $100,000 loan. That’s a very precocious baby we’re talking about here," he went on to add.
SBA will pause loan process "for those under 18 and above 120 years old"
Breitbart pointed out that Musk's remarks came just one day after he highlighted a DOGE social media post regarding the issuance of SBA loans.
The post detailed how as of this past Friday, the SBA will require "date of birth collection for all direct loan applications" and pause "the direct loan process for those under 18 and above 120 years old."
"Basic sanity checks like these are initial steps towards minimizing fraud in government payment programs," it declared.
Musk reposted that statement and added, "No more loans to babies or people too old to be alive (ie stolen Social Security numbers)."
USDA ends contract to educate "transgender and queer farmers on food justice"
As Breitbart noted, Musk was not the only one to talk about misspent funds during Monday's cabinet meeting, as U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Secretary Brooke Rollins did so as well.
He explained that the USDA had done away with "a $300,000 contract educating on food justice for queer and transgender farmers in San Francisco."
"A similar contract we cancelled in New York — again, educating transgender and queer farmers on food justice and food equality," Rollins continued.
"I’m not even sure what that means, but apparently the last administration wanted to put our taxpayer dollars towards that," the senior official went on to explain.
