Elon Musk vows to support 'moderate' Democrats
Elon Musk stunned many Republicans recently by vowing to support, financially, "moderate" Democrats.
Musk made the announcement in a recent message that he posted to his X account.
Musk's move might not be as crazy as it might initially seem, although it could certainly backfire.
Oh … forgot to mention that I’m also going to be funding moderate candidates in heavily Democrat districts, so that the country can get rid of those who don’t represent them, like this jackass

Background
Musk has become something of a heroic figure for Republicans in recent years.
For one thing, there was Musk's purchase of Twitter. He took the company, which had previously been another mouthpiece for the Democratic Party, and turned it into a platform that, to the extent possible, promotes free speech.
In addition to this, Musk, more recently, endorsed Donald Trump for president, campaigning for him on numerous occasions. President-Elect Trump has since returned the favor by seemingly making Musk a big part of Trump's team. Among other things, Trump has named Musk the head of the newly-formed Department of Governmental Efficiency (DOGE).
Musk, though, is now looking to take things a step further.
He seems to want to see if he can help to eliminate the radical sector of the Democratic Party - the extreme left.
"I'm also going to be funding..."
In a recent message, posted to his X account, Musk said that he is looking to fund "moderate" Democrats.

The Hill explains:
The ally of President-elect Trump made the comments in response to a clip of a floor speech from Rep. Richard Neal (D-Mass.), the ranking member of the Ways and Means Committee, who slammed Musk’s threat to primary Republicans if they supported an earlier bipartisan spending proposal this week.
Musk, over the past week, played a big role in the spending showdown that took place in Congress. The Hill reports, "Musk . . . fired off dozens of posts Wednesday ripping apart a stopgap spending measure that would have funded the government through March 14 and averted a government shutdown." Musk even called for the removal of any lawmaker who supported the bill.
Musk, Trump, and others were successful in that the bill did not pass.
