The Trump family is back in the news. 

As former President Donald Trump faces down four indictments as he dominates in the polls for the 2024 GOP nomination, some have pointed out that former first lady Melania Trump and his daughter, Ivanka Trump, have rarely been seen or heard from throughout the ordeal.

Reports from earlier this year indicated that Ivanka was reportedly attempting to distance herself from her father's legal troubles, with the same speculation regarding Melania.

Left-leaning media outlets have had a field day as far as coming up with theories of what's happening behind the scenes in the Trump family.

Ivanka found a way

Though she hasn't publicly shared her thoughts on her father's indictments, Ivanka seemingly found a way to defend her father by sharing a post by a Miami-area pizzeria owner who slammed the indictments against the former president.

The Mercury News noted:

Trump’s beloved oldest daughter did so without using her own words to slam the multiple investigations against him. Instead, she turned to a statement from a Miami-area pizzeria owner, sharing his comments in an Instagram Story post that she knows will soon be automatically deleted.

The outlet also noted that Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, a former prominent player in the Trump administration, have carefully notched appearances that seem to signal support for the 45th president.

"Trump advisers also told Vanity Fair writer Gabriel Sherman that Ivanka and Kushner have been more visible lately in Trump circles, stoking speculation that the pair are gearing up to take an active role in his 2024 campaign," The Mercury News wrote.

"They’ve been spotted more frequently this summer,” a top campaign strategist said to Vanity Fair about the couple. "They’ve made it clear they’re supportive. They pop into meetings to say hi."

A former Trump administration official said that Jared Kushner, especially, needs to "protect his turf" if Mr. Trump is reelected and has made sure not to distance himself too far.

Divorce speculation

While there's absolutely no indication that Melania Trump has any intention to divorce her husband, leftist media outlets are calling in "relationship experts" to analyze Melania's noticeable absence on the campaign trail.

“It is difficult to say whether or not Melania Trump will decide to divorce Donald Trump, as it is a very personal decision. However, it appears the couple don’t spend much time with each other and there have been numerous reports that paint them as having a strained relationship," Louella Alderson, the co-founder of So Syncd, a dating app, told The Mirror.

Between the speculation and reports that Melania is living separately from Donald, the anti-Trump left is having a field day.

Perhaps they would be better served focusing on real issues and not speculating on the personal affairs of the former president.
